Born with type I diabetes predisposition, this young girl who aged around 18 to 19 years old was happily shopping in company of her older sister.
Suddenly, her world turned into a fast spinning carousel upside down. She suffered severe and almost blinding faints that left her leaning on the wall of the shopping center unable to walk and talk.
She started to sweat profusely like a river and her beautiful black eyes began to spill tears like a cascade. At one point she appeared to cry, but I knew she wasn’t. She had tears in her eyes because she was withstanding a severe pain in her head. All these diabetic symptoms appeared in 30 seconds. It was so fast that her sister had to rush to a nearby magazine kiosk and buy her a sweet soft drink.
She drank the juice immediately as I held her against the wall. I could feel her sweat and her wet shaking skin. As I held her, I could see how pale her face was. She told me she had an explosive headache so I immediately took off her sunglasses from her head to alleviate the pressure and pain she was having.
After 10 minutes, I got to take 3 pictures of her still drinking the grape juice her sister bought her.
I told her to seek post medical attention and she smiled, telling me she is already undergoing medical treatment for her diabetes attack.
By the time you read these lines and see her pictures she could be worse or even dead. Her older sister told me in private that her sickness was degenerative and that she has been suffering from it since she was 5 years old. It has been getting worse and more common during the last 5 years or so.
